As third-party food delivery services, including Grubhub and OrderUp, continue to get more and more popular, new innovations in ensuring food quality and safety are changing the delivery market. Pan Pacific Manufacturing, Inc., already a supplier of plastic packaging in the restaurant business, recently launched a new line of products aimed at preventing tampering with food orders. The “Seal-2-Go” bags feature an adhesive seal, so restaurants can seal the food into the bag, which helps to keep it warm longer. This adds an extra layer of protection for consumers, who can have the peace of mind knowing that their food was safely transported from the restaurant.
