Kenneth has over 42 years of experience in the manufacturing business and expertise in all areas of Plastic Injection Molding.  He is an experienced professional with strong leadership and relationship-building skills.Kenneth is a skilled executive previously the President of a manufacturing company.  He has a proven record achieving designs on parts and tooling to minimize final product cost with no sacrifices to quality, construction, or durability.  Expertise includes:

  • Assist clients on part and tool designs to achieve the most economical and efficient designs to produce superior quality parts.  Most designs are not done by real engineers and lack in many areas.  Design software today has many built in design shortcuts which lead to more complex and expensive designs.
  • Reviewed part and mold designs for clients ranging from inventors to large corporations with their own engineering departments wishing to obtain a second review of part and mold designs.
  • Prepared inventors with cost estimates for their projects. 
  • Determined the major functions of the product added features and eliminated features not necessary.  Referred them to one of the part designers I have in my library and directed them on how the part should be designed.  Then reviewed the part designs looking for A. Function, B. Ease of manufacturing, C. Durability and method of final tooling.
  • Reviewed tooling drawings and advised as to the method used to achieve the part design, keeping in mind cost, durability, and maintenance.
  • For large clients, Ken reviewed mainly tooling designs.  Concentrated on cooling, runners and gates, as well as any complex motions required in the tool.  Made recommendations on altering the design to be more efficient, and most clients went with Ken’s changes or a variation thereof.

  • Started as Project Engineer and worked my way to President.
  • Implemented systems to improve process efficiency through engineering time studies, and designed fixtures and equipment to aide in assembly.
  • Conducted routine quality audits to ensure that the work was progressing per the specifications of the customer
  • Oversaw business-wide changes to modernize procedures and organization
  • Developed programs to promote new managers from within, leading to a cohesive leadership structure

  • Developed inventory control system and integrated with sales history so that product would be available for shipment as orders arrived.  Shipped most of the company products next day.
  • Reviewed and approved all tooling designs for all products and handled     communication with tool makers

  • Directed production personnel solving production problems involving   machinery and tooling
  • Oversaw all safety training and procedures.  Monitored all were done on a timely basis
  • Wrote procedures for preventative maintenance of machinery and tooling
  • Designed special circuitry to allow machines to perform custom applications involving both electrical and hydraulics
  • Kept keen eyes on entire facility each time in manufacturing area looking for any safety hazards or possible violations and had them corrected immediately

He comes from a family of professional educators whom often said he missed his calling.
